Supercomix!

These were easy to find in the 70's and 80's. Published by Republican Press were Supercomix - South Africa's Own Comics. They often had a Pop Star poster as a centrefold. Popular DC Titles reprinted were Superman, Superboy & Wonder Woman. Popular Marvel titles reprinted were Spiderman, Hulk, Captain America & Thor. Popular cartoon titles like Donald Duck, Popeye, Mighty Mouse, etc were also reprinted.

  1. Wow, these are awesome books.... still looking to try and find one for purchase! Any supercomix book to bring back to america.... I would love to see the hulk 181 variant that was printed in South Africa at the time....

  2. The first Tessa was Erna va der Westhuizen, she also played in Saal 10. Anyone know what happend to her?

  4. Good day... I have found a stack of neatly preserved Supercomix books from 1978... As well as Little Lulu and Richie Rich etc.. Are these books worth something? I dont know where to start researching... Regards from Namibia
